Job Overview

We are currently looking for an Associate Designer to join our design team. This role will require you to have a hands-on approach while supporting our Head of Product Development and design team with approvals, sample tracking, follow up with vendors, maintenance, and organization of all electronic and physical records. Our ideal candidate must be highly proficient in using adobe illustrator, photoshop, and excel. This role will also require you to have a strong organization skill – while also having a strong eye for detail.

Key Responsibilities

• Creating Tech Packs for Socks
• Evaluate tech packs created by our overseas team to ensure comments are thorough, accurate, and complete
• Receiving development and PP samples and reviewing them with the Sales Team
• Reviewing development and PP samples with our factories and communicating with them any changes that needs to be made
• Submitting PP and development samples to licensor for final approval
• Maintain daily communication with internal and external teams to ensure production is on schedule
• Critical thinking and strategic analysis/planning with a holistic approach.

Experience and Skills 

• Degree in design, or a related field that demonstrates your dedication to the industry
• 2-3 years of Internship experience strongly preferred 
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills 
• Impeccable time management skills with great sense of urgency 
• Highly organized and detail oriented with great appreciation for accuracy 
• Basic understanding of product creation process
• Ability to proactively trouble shoot, and problem solve in a fast-paced high-pressure environment 

Salary: $50,000-$80,000
