ASSOCIATE DESIGNER

JOB FUNCTIONS

• Support lead designer with design and development for branded activewear & athleisure collection

• Produce flat sketches, line sheets and visually pleasing CADs

• Create tech packs with construction details including fabrications, trims, print and color

• Research and develop new fabrics and trims 

• Communicate with factories to request and track samples

• Perform market trend research and create comp reports as needed 

• Attend fit sessions and communicate design changes to the maker  

QUALIFICATIONS

• 2-3 years experience in design, preferably in activewear

• Proficient in creating quick, accurate flat sketches

• Must be organized, self-motivated with attention to detail and high level of accuracy

• Excellent communication & follow up skills 

• Passion to uphold the quality and design integrity of the brand

• Good eye for color & strong color matching ability 

• Adobe CC -  Illustrator & Photoshop

• Understanding of garment construction & performance fabrics 

• Positive, can-do attitude  

• CV/Resume and examples of work (sketching and tech packs) required for consideration

Salary: $55 – 70K
