ASSOCIATE DESIGNER - Leading Denim Apparel Company

Leading Denim Apparel Company in New York is seeking a talented Associate Designer to join their team!

The ideal candidate for this position is a motivated and eager professional looking to apply their experience to partner with a Junior/Missy/Contemporary denim brand. You will create sketches in Illustrator, complete tech packs from sketch to finished product, and take on additional design-related tasks. Our ideal candidate will possess strong Illustrator skills and will be able to effectively time manage in a fast-paced environment. Packaging and Print design a plus.

Requirements:

• A minimum of 3+ years of denim design experience
• Bachelor’s degree in fashion a plus
• Experience in building tech packs front start to finish
• Highly proficient in Illustrator
• Experience in Photoshop a plus
• Excellent multitasking skills
• Strong communicator
• Collaborative, team-centered approach
• Detailed oriented

Must have Junior/Missy/Contemporary denim design experience
