Associate Blouse Designer for COUNTERPARTS Division of Land’N’Sea Llc. 

Contemporary Missy apparel is looking for an Associate Designer to join the blouse division immediately! This is an exciting opportunity for someone to grow and be involved in all aspects of the business. 

Responsibilities:  

A resilient innovator, manage and design specializing in building a blouse collection alongside Creative Director from start to end.  Concept planning and style editing for private label accounts as well as COUNTERPARTS brand line. Responsible for product design process which include market research, design, fabric, print development, and fit process.  

Good follow up skills with factory on deliveries and deadlines including daily overseas communications with factories.

Qualifications:

• 2+ years of experience in apparel design
• BA Fashion Design
• Proficient in Adobe Creative Suite (Adobe Illustrator and Photoshop) Microsoft Word and Excel
• Creative and detail-oriented
• Good understanding of our customer base and their needs
• PLM experience is a plus
• Good team worker and good personality 
• Good self-starter
• Good understanding of comprehensive design and production process
