ASSISTANT SITE MERCHANDISER - $16-19 DOE

 Our client is a reputable New York City based fashion company specializing in men’s, women’s and children’s wear. This company is continuously growing and is looking for an Assistant Site Merchandiser to help support the achievement of their business goals.

Salary/Hourly Rate:  $16-$19 DOE

Position Overview:  The Assistant Site Merchandiser will provide support to the Merchandise Division. This role has a primary focus on product merchandising and management of site processes. The Assistant Site Merchandiser will work cross functionally with the Merchandising/Planning, Development/IT, Buying, and Production Teams. The ideal candidate is tech savvy and can execute product publishings timely and accurately.

Responsibilities of the Assistant Site Merchandiser: 

  • Manage execution of timely and accurate product launch, descriptions, pricing imagery, and attributes
  • Maintain database and product data
  • Upload process of new inventory and product information
  • Assist photo shoot management and logistics for product division
  • Collaborate with Buying Team
  • Analyze sales performance by product and category division
  • Work proactively to improve processes and identify needs of the business
  • Assist and coordinate with other showroom staff and assistants

Qualifications for the Assistant Site Merchandiser:

  • 1-3 years experience of eCommerce experience
  • Experience in content management and tech savvy (Shopify, Demandware/Salesforce, Magento)
  • High attention to detail and analytics
  • Excellent organizational and multi-tasking skills with strong attention to detail
  • Collaborative, team player, and open to feedback with the ability to work in a fast-paced environment

Education Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent
