ASSISTANT PATTERN MAKER (Chinese Speaking)

Position Overview: 

We are looking for a skilled Assistant Pattern Maker who is fluent in Chinese to assist in the completion of various pattern-making tasks, including finalizing patterns, creating linings, fusing fabrics, and producing stampers and cutters. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of pattern making techniques, excellent communication skills in both English and Chinese, and a meticulous attention to detail. 

Responsibilities: 

• Collaborate with the lead pattern maker to finalize patterns for production.
• Assist in creating linings for garments according to specifications.
• Fuse fabrics as needed for various projects. 
• Produce stampers and cutters for efficient manufacturing processes.
• Ensure accuracy and precision in all pattern-making tasks. 
• Communicate effectively with team members, including those who primarily speak Chinese. 
• Maintain a clean and organized work environment. 
• Adhere to safety protocols and guidelines at all times. 

Requirements: 

• Proficiency in pattern making techniques and garment construction.
• Fluent in both English and Chinese, with excellent communication skills in both languages. 
• Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment. 
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy. 
• Prior experience in a similar role is preferred. 
• Knowledge of relevant software and tools (e.g., CAD software) is a plus.
• Must be able to adapt to fast-paced work environments and meet deadlines.
