ASSISTANT MANAGER, SUPPLY CHAIN OPERATIONS

Overview

SPARC Group LLC is an operating partner to global brands, providing retail and ecommerce management, sourcing, design and other operational and administrative support. The West Coast Distribution Operation currently serves Aeropostale, Nautica and Lucky Brand in the United States and Puerto Rico. Forever 21, Brooks Brothers, Eddie Bauer, and Reebok brands are also owned by SPARC. The Assistant Manager, Supply Chain Operations is a member of the team responsible for facilitating efficient movement of goods through 3PL DC’s to our wholesale, stores and ecommerce customers. The position is a primary point of contact for our internal partners and vendors.  Through strong communication with an emphasis on best practice development and relationship building, this position ensures efficient and effective operations by our third party logistics providers.

Responsibilities

• Maintain Daily/Weekly/Monthly reporting on performance, order tracking, service levels, etc. and communicate with internal partners.
• Organize and facilitate quarterly business reviews
• Meet with 3PLs as required to review forward looking projections
• Order supplies and manage related invoice processing for the facilities.
• Aid 3PLs in issue resolution related to inbound shipments, allocations, orders, ensuring production levels and on time goals are met efficiently.
• Manage Vendor Compliance programs for inbound shipments and ensure vendor chargebacks are appropriately recorded. Work with new vendors, as required.
• Ensure wholesale customer compliance manuals are being maintained and adhered to.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Business, Supply Chain, or related field preferred.
• 2-5 years of Distribution Center experience in an automated facility preferred
• Experience creating and updating reports in Excel
• Analytic Skills: Ability to think objectively and interpret meaningful themes from quantitative and qualitative data
• Systems and Tools Acumen: MS Office skills with emphasis on Excel, and aptitude to learn company systems/applications quickly
• Collaboration: Able to build constructive and effective relationships with a broad and diverse group of partners
• Leadership: Highly motivated, self-starter with excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Travel may be required, based on business needs.
• Adhere to regular in-office presence, including to engage in in-person team interaction, meetings and collaboration. 
• Perform other duties as assigned by supervisor as the company retains the right to change duties to this position.
• Must have authorization to work in the United States.

Physical Requirements:

• Ability to safely and successfully perform the essential job functions consistent with the ADA, FMLA and other federal, state and local standards.
• Ability to maintain regular and timely attendance consistent with the ADA, FMLA, and other federal, state and local standards and Company’s policy.
• Ability to remain in a stationary position for up to 8 hours per day
• Ability to constantly operate a computer, other office equipment and look at a monitor for up to 8 hours per day
• Ability to clearly and accurately communicate and exchange information verbally, in writing, or through other means in person, telephonically, or through virtual communication methods
• Ability to position self to reach at or below shoulder level
• Ability to carry equipment, move boxes/samples, etc.

Requirements & EEO Statement The salary range for this position is $66,560 to $69,500 annually. Pay is based on several factors, including but not limited to position offered and work experience. In addition to your salary, SPARC Group, and its affiliated brands, offers a benefits package, including 401(k) plan, overtime pay, flexible work schedule and a generous employee discount program (all benefits are based on eligibility).
