Overview

Job Title:         Account Manager

Location:         New York Office

Department:    Account Management and Training

Reports to:      Director of Account Management/Account Executive

Status:             Full-time

Salary:             $63,000-$70,000 per year

 

Note that this range is representative of earning potential and actual pay will be based on skills, experience, and/or geographic location.

Job Summary

Reporting to the Director of Account Management or Account Executive, the Account Manager is responsible for maintaining and building the client relationship as the day-to-day contact for multiple accounts. This role collaborates with the Operations and Account Training teams to ensure 100% execution of all client projects.


Responsibilities

Job Duties


Build, expand, and maintain client business by building relationships and developing strategic proposals.

 

• Lead and oversee the client relationship from contract creation to budgeting, budget management, and execution.
• Build client business with Winston by presenting and proving our results. Continuously communicate success stories to clients.
• Visit clients and markets consistently to review field performance, understand competition, and provide insights on training or talent.
• Effectively negotiate with clients to secure contracts and renewals that are equitable for Winston and support company growth.

 

Foster internal partnerships to ensure the successful growth and execution of the Winston field team.


• Collaborate with Operations (Regionals/Recruiting) to ensure projects are staffed with talent that reflects our brand image, completed on time and on budget by dedicated coordinators.
• Collaborate specifically with the Account Training team to ensure training is clear, detailed, and accessible.
• Contribute to a “Field First” mentality by engaging teams, celebrating success, and coaching opportunities leading to minimal field turnover.

 

The Ideal Candidate

The ideal candidate for this position will possess the following attributes:

• Demonstrated experience in:

o High-level client service and developing client relationships
o Managing budgets, driving business growth, and analyzing trends and opportunities
o Utilizing business metrics to deliver against financial goals
o Working in a cross-functional environment
o Influencing and negotiating to complete projects

 


Qualifications

Required Qualifications

• 4-year or advanced degree
• Preferred experience with brands and/or in a retail atmosphere
• 3+ years of high-level client service and managing a team within a wholesale, retail, or store       organization
