ACCOUNT MANAGER / JUNIOR ACCOUNT EXECUTIVE - Children's Apparel

We are looking for an Account Manager/Junior Account Executive Childrens Apparel for a top fashion company in Edison, NJ!

POSITION SUMMARY

This role is responsible for organizing and managing a portfolio of retail accounts to support the company in achieving consistent growth and long-term success. The Sales Account Manager is responsible to satisfy retailer needs while supporting the AE in their day to day, ensuring efficient internal process and buyer satisfaction are consistently met.

Responsibilities:

  • Work closely with COO, sales team, and cross functioning design, sourcing and production teams on seasonal and annual strategies that will maximize revenue and gross margin.
  • Develop and manage strong internal relationships.
  • Nurture and build positive external relationships with buyers and their assistants.
  • Point of contact for day-to-day sales housekeeping.
  • Collaborate and support AE in developing new opportunities.
  • Coordinating sample / package sending, various presentations.
  • Coordinating samples and taking photos based on retailer requirements.
  • Attend meets, take minutes
  • Shop the stores, with and for AE, gain solid understanding of retailer, customer, what is/is not performing with good /slow sell through, competitor product comparison.
  • Responsible for seasonal sample rotate and clean up in NY Showroom and as part of team collaborative effort in Edison NJ.
  • Manage company ATS, collaborating with AE to minimize inventory liabilities and maximize in season deals.
  • Formatting and reviewing selling reports for assigned retailers.
  • Work with COO and AE to initiate department / various budgets, then manage the process.
  • Responsible for retailer style setups (working with retailer excel templates and online portals to process new orders, update existing orders.Full internal system (Exenta) training for various tasks
    • The Sales Manager will be the cross trained back up to Customer Service and vice versa, to ensure new orders are always processed in a timely fashion and areas are covered during peak times and for PTO

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in related field
  • 2-5 years' experience
