ACCOUNT EXECUTIVE SALES 100 – 115K

JOB DESCRIPTION 

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced ACCOUNT EXECUTIVE to drive sales growth. The ACCOUNT EXECUTIVE will report directly to the director of sales and will be responsible for developing and executing sales strategies that align with our brand values and drive success in the wholesale women’s contemporary clothing channel. 

RESPONSIBILITIES:

MARKET

  • On site position 39th st 7th Ave NYC
  • Assist the sales director with day-to-day sales activities
  • Analyzing sales figures and sell-through reports
  • Maintain strong relationships with accounts
  • Communicating with clients regularly
  • Research and prospect new accounts
  • Assist with any special sales projects or tasks as needed
  • Research current fashion climate and market
  • Develop and implement a comprehensive sales plan to achieve revenue and profitability goals
  • Meet with buyers in our showroom, show samples, send meeting follow up, and manage orders through final delivery.
  • Develop and maintain relationships with key accounts and business partners, including retail buyers, distributors, and wholesalers
  • Assist in selling off old inventory with off price retailers
  • Analyze sales data and market trends to identify new opportunities for growth and to improve sales performance
  • Monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of sales programs and promotions, and make recommendations for improvement
  • Work closely with cross-functional teams, including marketing and product development, to ensure alignment and collaboration on sales initiatives
  • Develop new business programs, follow up on orders, and manage all aspects of the wholesale sales business to our top wholesale customers.

REQUIREMENTS:

  • 4+ years of experience in sales, with a proven track record of driving revenue growth and managing a high-performing sales team
  • Relationships with apparel retailers and buying offices , such as : Neiman Marcus , Bloomingdales, Nordstroms , Moda Operandi, Net A Porter, Evereve , Anthropologie , South Moon Under
  • Strong knowledge of the street fashion industry and trends
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build and maintain relationships with key accounts and business partners
  • Strong analytical skills and the ability to use data to inform sales strategies and decision-making
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and to manage multiple priorities and deadlines
  • Strong leadership skills and the ability to motivate and inspire a team to achieve goals
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills and ability to craft a clear and compelling message
  • Strong time management and organizational skills with the ability to multitask and prioritize
  • Must have experience working at a multi-line showroom or in-house brand
  • Ability to develop strategies to maintain, increase the business and open new accounts, cold call
  • Ability to excel in a high-pressure and fast-paced environment
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Excel , Retail Portals, Joor & NuOrder.
