ACCOUNT EXECUTIVE - Junior's, Women's, Children's & Plus Sizes

Our client is an Apparel / Textile Manufacturer looking for super sale executives that have direct relationships with buyers within the budget to moderate apparel industry for Junior’s, Women's, Children's and/or Plus Sizes.  Prior and current track record required.  

Responsibilities: 

  • Required to apply your expertise and contact base to represent the Manufactures' products.
  • Strong knowledge of selling and merchandising ladies sportswear, dresses, childrens and plus sizes.     
  • Current and previous selling to budget and moderate, children's, girls or ladies apparel. Better will also be considered.
  • Building brands a plus.
  • Identifying the retailers customer base.
  • Up to 30% travel when permitted. 
  • Interface with the design and merchandising team.
  • Set up and coordinate meetings with buyers.
  • Knowledge of costing, pricing verifications, and extensions.
  • Monitor all phases and stages of paper flow.
  • Shop the stores to evaluate the fashion trending and customer needs. 
  • Direct experience and contacts with many of the following.
  • National specialty stores
  • E-Commerce
  • Department stores
  • Brand and private label. 
  • Catalog and mail order.
  • Boutiques
  • Big Box
  • Specialty stores
  • Cruise Ships
  • Any Others 

  Qualifications: 

  • Need to take direction from a dynamic leader as well as contribute new ideas
  • Must have leadership skills and evaluate the whole picture
  • Minimum five years experience  
  • Proven track record of a minimum volume of two million   
  • Big billers of five million and up are preferred
  • Strong communication and computer skills
  • Experience in a high pace changing time sensitive market
  • Team player that can take constructive guidance
  • On time with taking ownership for their goals
  • Honesty and integrity without an ego
  • Must have an upfront list of references that you currently are working with
