ASSOCIATE DESIGNER - APPAREL

Sarah Hann is looking for an in person / in office full time associate designer to join our design team!

We are a rapidly growing Women’s Contemporary fashion company based in LA. Our goal is to create and strive for the best product.

We are seeking a self-motivated creative individual with a passion for fashion and learn new skills and contribute to our design team .

Responsibilities and duties:

• Assist the design director and design team in all aspects of the design process.
• Create and maintain line sheets, report decks, slides, cads and flat sketches.
• Responsible for organizing, documenting, tagging and keeping track of showroom samples / duplicates.
• Working with fabric companies / ordering and follow thru.
• Assist photoshoots and all details to organize.
• Perform additional duties and assignments from Design director.

Requirements:

• 1-3 years experience in the fashion apparel design industry.
• Proficient in Adobe Illustrator, Photoshop, Excel.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills to effectively communicate with internal departments such as Design, Patternmakers, sample room and Showroom.
• Ability to multi task, manage and prioritize multiple projects and deadlines in a timely manner.
• Team player, fast learner with effective time management and good follow thru skills.     

Location:

Los Angeles

Mon thru Friday

8:30 am to 5:30 pm

Salary:

$45-65K ​depending on experience
