FREELANCE ILLUSTRATOR / GRAPHIC DESIGNER - REMOTE

Hi!  We are Wildflower + Co. - a small business with a love for whimsical, illustration-focused design.  We are looking for a creative, multi-talented freelance Illustrator / Graphic Designer to work closely with the company founder in creating graphics!  Open to freelancers, recent grads, & skilled students.   We are really looking for someone who shares our love for fun and kinda quirky design and has an amazing eye, great attitude, and possesses the key skills.  

Requirements:

• Highly skilled Illustrator
• Skilled in the Adobe suite, esp. Photoshop & Illustrator.  Procreate ok too but must be able to finish designs in Adobe. 
• Preferably experience with graphic design, hand lettering, formatting for print & web, creating simple .gifs/animations & photo retouching
• Love of trends, blogs, and pop culture – must have finger on the pulse of what’s happening / trending & ability to present and incorporate relevant trends
• Creative, inspired, and passionate – must be able to collaborate & brainstorm new ideas
• Highly motivated w/ great energy and attitude
• Strong communication skills, detail oriented, and organized
• Must be very comfortable working in our aesthetic, collaborating, & taking direction as we are trying to build a clear brand POV

RATE: Hourly rate $17 - $25 DOE

HOURS: Stable 6 – 15 hours per week (inc. opportunity for more hours around key projects).  Flexible schedule.  

Position will be largely or entirely remote but would like the ability to occasionally meet IRL in Brooklyn or Hudson, NY (though not required).
