SENIOR MANAGER, ERP PRODUCTION STRATEGY & TRANSFORMATION

In support of our mission, we are implementing an ERP that will transform our business processes, and we are seeking a Senior Manager, ERP Production Strategy & Transformation to join our Supply Chain & Operations team.

You will report to the Senior Director, Product Development based in our New York City office.

What You’ll Do

During the first 12-18 months of your role, you will be assigned as the Production Business Lead to our Global ERP implementation project. Upon the successful implementation and go-live of the solution, you will transition to be a full-time member of the Supply Chain & Operations team, taking a leadership role in the Production department. 

The role for the duration of the project is detailed below:

  • Responsible for ensuring the design of the ERP solution will satisfy the business process vision and future-state goals of the Supply Chain and Operations departments and Away, including (but not limited to) entity org structure, master data, vendor pricing / contracts, procurement (purchase req / purchase order), costing and BOM, inventory costing and management, go to market and critical processes, and vendor / partner integration

  • Be the voice of your department in key system and business process decisions

  • Drive key project deliverables, including requirements definition, process design, solution design, test planning and execution, data readiness, cutover planning and execution, and post go-live support

  • Gather required documentation including existing data sets (item master, vendor master, etc.) and SOPs, and lead data readiness activities such as data validation or cleansing

  • Design test scripts for happy path and edge case business processes, and lead solution testing and user acceptance testing for your department

  • Champion change management within your department by assessing org impact, proactively communicating updates and changes, delivering training and ensuring training materials enable continuous education, and driving process and system adoption within your department

  • Collaborate cross-functionally with other business leads and SMEs to achieve the best system and business process solution for Away

Who You Are:

  • Minimum 6+ years of progressive Production and Go-to-Market experience, with at least 2 years of public company experience

  • Led or participated in at least one full system implementation (ERP or other supply chain technology system)

  • Deep understanding of master data set up and business processes including vendor management, inventory costing and management, costing and sourcing, etc.

  • Strategic thinker with an understanding of the cross-functional and supply chain / operational impact of business processes 

  • Proven ability to influence team members and act as a change agent

  • Microsoft ERP technology experience preferred (D365, AX, or NAV)

  • Experience in Vertical Retail Industry preferred

  • Team player with a "no task is too small" attitude

  • Enjoys working in a fast-paced and ever-changing environment
