Sales Assistant

The ideal candidate will be responsible for supporting the Account Executives. You will be a key contributor to our sales team's success. You will provide outstanding customer service by being a liaison between the sales team and the customer.

Responsibilities

• Establish relationships with buyers and assistant buyers
• Work directly with design and production teams on projects and buyer requests
• Prepare monthly line sheets
• Prepare weekly selling re-caps from multiple retailers
• Follow up with shipping and open orders
• Negotiate pricing on deliveries with buyers
• Email availability reports to buyers
• Sample requests follow through
• Order entry
• Schedule market appointments
• Some travel may be required

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree or equivalent experience
• Customer-service oriented
• Self Starter with excellent follow through
• Ability to multi-task and balance many projects at once
• Must have strong verbal communication and written skills
• Proficient in Microsoft Office (Intermediate skills in Excel and Powerpoint)
• NetSuite Experience a plus
• 2-3 years sales assistant experience preferred
