Design Assistant

G&W, a major children’s apparel company is seeking an independent, self-motivated team player with a minimum of 2 years’ experience in children’s wear to assist the design team. Primary responsibility will be creating tech packs.

Qualifications:

• Must be proficient in Photoshop and Illustrator
• Must be able to sketch flats in a timely manor
• Must work well in a team atmosphere
• Must be organized and the ability to multi task in a deadline driven environment.
• Must have experience creating Tech Packs
• Work closely with team to develop fabrics, prints, graphics, and trims.
• Work closely with Production to maintain all aspects of design throughout the production process, including lab dips, color and special trims.
• Must be eager to learn and be able to thrive in a fast pace environment 
• Must have Strong fashion and creative senses; keen trend awareness.
