Business Analyst (E-Commerce)

KEY DELIVERABLES

  • Provide analytical support that maximizes and directs product performance by analyzing sales and inventory data. Issue weekly, quarterly POS performance reports that provide meaningful highlights, summaries and guidance on the performance of our categories at different Omni-channel and pure play partners.
  • Develop collaborative planning with retailers and drive consensus forecasting to have accurate inventory management and reporting exceptions to the team for timely decision making.
  • Provide input towards developing inventory strategies on existing items, new products and product phase-outs. Work closely with stakeholders to keep SLOB below 2% of total inventory exposure.
  • Utilize data available on partner portals to maximize OTIF and drive in-stock availability.
  • Partner with internal stakeholders to build sales budget to match with organizational goals.
  • Ensure that the right unconstrained demand gets plotted into the supply chain system for both short and medium term to ensure right capacity planning is done with factories to meet future demand.
  • Build an open to buy model to ensure inventory planning is in line with sales budget.
  • Ensure proper collaboration across functions to converge towards a single set of operating plans with a view to leverage opportunities and mitigate risks.
  • Receive, analyze, and respond to a high volume of communication each day. Respond timely to customer communications portraying a collaborative approach to service customers and giving input on improvements in all areas of supply chain.
  • Build a collaborative relationship with customers by facilitating periodic meetings with the retailer’s replenishment team to communicate deliverables and devise action plans to help achieve those deliverables.
  • Travel as required.

The e-Commerce Business Analyst will lead analysis & design activities in close co-ordination with planning, sales, finance and IT team in the Omni-channel and pure play business, as we embark upon a major reengineering for continued growth and global expansion. Formally the role includes: to elicit, analyze, specify, and validate the business needs of project stakeholders. Key activities would encompass document and workflow analysis, business process definition, sales & replenishment analytics, open to buy management, sales budgeting, deriving key insights from portals to help make right business decisions. This role works closely with internal and external stakeholders to maximize sales, in-stocks and inventory management through collaborative planning.
