SALES ACCOUNT EXECUTIVE - Off Price / Clubs/Discount

Bioworld Merchandising NY is expanding our sales team.

  • This position will require an ambitious individual who has recognized and adapted to the profound changes in the market.
  • This position is designed to leverage knowledge of the market, price points, product development, license experience and a curated point of view into serious market penetration.

Qualifications: 

  • At least 5 years sales experience with apparel and / or accessories
  • Strong Off-Price sales experience and market knowledge 
  • Ability to creatively merchandise and sell multiple products from a sales perspective
  • Possess a distinct skillset to work with people at all layers and levels successfully
  • Ability to visualize and communicate strategic goals
  • Ability to navigate in a cross-functional team environment.
  • A trained eye for the elements of design: i.e. color, proportion and balance as well as aesthetic detail
  • The ability to be flexible and bend to daily needs and requirements in a positive fashion

Responsibilities:

  • Strategize, plan and develop new and existing business across multiple market channels
  • Develop strategy, assortment plans and pricing  by analysis of past business, shopping market and other retail stores and determine assortment by season
  • Synthesize current designed product into a market ready collection reflecting trend, price point requirements, competitive analysis and innovative thought
  • Utilize effectively internal systems and protocols to effectively navigate operational requirements for timely action on all fronts
  • Collaborate with internal team on product development, licensing and custom project opportunities - manage projects to time, cost and revenue parameters
  • Interact daily with Creative, Inventory/ Planning, Global Sourcing/Domestic Vendors and Technical Design to fine tune planning and execution.
