Account Executive

Summary

Job brief 

We are looking for a high-performing sales executive to help us meet our customer acquisition and revenue growth targets by keeping our company competitive and innovative.  Successful candidates will be responsible for maximizing sales potential and meeting sales goals. 

Responsibilities 

  • Build and promote strong, long-lasting customer relationships by partnering with design and purchasing teams to understand their needs 
  • Identify and cultivate new relationships with prospective customers  
  • Provide excellent customer service to clients 
  • Achieve growth and sales targets by successfully maintaining and growing existing accounts
  • Execute sales strategy through initial calls, meetings, presentations and negotiating sales  
  • Work with sales manager to set and meet goals for successful customer relationships, increased sales opportunities with existing customers, and building a pipeline of new customers  
  • Produce and routinely update target account lists and sales strategies for each account 
  • Promptly follow up on client inquiries  
  • Identify emerging markets and market shifts while being fully aware of new products and competition status to grow revenue streams while maintaining revenue base 
  • Cultivate and maintain an industry network and attend relevant client and industry events 

Requirements 

  • BFA, BS, or equivalent experience 
  • 2-3 years outsides sales experience required  
  • Preference will be given to candidates with athleticwear or athleisure sales or development experience
  • Successful previous experience as a sales representative consistently meeting or exceeding targets 
  • Strong interpersonal, leadership, organizational and analytical skills 
  • Proven ability to work with a team  
  • Strong business sense and industry expertise 
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite and willingness to learn new platforms as needed
