Required Skills

• Bachelor’s Degree in fashion design
• 2+ year industry experience
• Proficient in Adobe Illustrator, Photoshop, InDesign, Bridge, Excel
• Knowledge of garment construction
• Possess a creative spirit, and effectively express your ideas
• Must be hardworking, organized, proactive, and naturally inclined to problem-solve.
• Excellent communication skills – verbal, written, and presentation
• Ability to learn quickly and adapt to new processes
• Ability to multi-task and adjust workload as a result of shifting priorities
• Strong interpersonal skills, including the ability to establish and maintain positive working-relationships among team members, management, and cross-functional teams
• Must be a team player and have a positive attitude with the ability to work well under pressure

Position Responsibilities

• Assist in inspiration research
• Collaborate and actively share creative insight with Designer
• Assist in preparation for critical meetings such as concept & sketch review
• Ensure all appointments are prepared with appropriate line sheets and reference materials
• Update line sheets and facilitate workflow as needed
• Set up initial tech pack & BOM’s with cover page and artwork
• Create and manipulate CADs in photoshop/illustrator
• Adhere to design, development & production calendar
• Assist in the sourcing of fabrics and sending out lab dips / strike off’s
• Create swatch cuttings for Production binder and fabric library, including FDS sheet
• Prepare sample tags with the style name, delivery, and color for incoming samples, tag garments upon arrival.
• Maintain a garment library from the first sample to TOP
• Rename images with name, color, and style number at product photoshoots
• Assist in uploading seasonal product images to Joor for sales team
• Create sample tracking log for showrooms and maintain as samples are being sent out
• Maintain Master digital and physical library for artwork
• Run errands as needed by Designer/Team
• Upload all product images and style descriptions by season, name, and style number to dropbox account for the web team
• Contribute positively to the team dynamic and assist whenever possible
• Follow through on tasks assigned
• Maintain a consistent sense of urgency
