SENIOR ACCOUNT EXECUTIVE - Luxury Women's Apparel

RESPONSIBILITIES 

  • Expand business by seeking out new accounts, potential buyers and showrooms  growing and exploring new markets. 
  • Develop and execute a cohesive and comprehensive sales strategy to achieve  sales targets in the US East and West Coast. 
  • Collaborate with the Creative Director to build and present seasonal develops to  fill in customer lines. 
  • Compile weekly sales reports and present to CEO. 
  • Coordinate market week appointments and give the line presentation according to  each buyer. 
  • Conduct analyses of current process and strategize ideas to improve business 
  • Communicate with buyers regarding current/future orders, shipping, current sales,  changes in delivery schedule, and other related business.  
  • Achieve sales goals. Meet financial goals and drive revenue. 
  • Collaborate with other departments to ensure successful, timely, and on-trend  creation and selling of the product. 
  • Monitor sales performance and generate all applicable selling reports, to ensure  the team is on track to meet their sales goals. 
  • Ensure all leads from trade shows are targeted & approve all new accounts.  
  • Work with merchandising team to develop wholesale and retail pricing structure,  as well as to create seasonal line sheets. 
  • Process all orders and notes at trade shows and recap totals by week to CEO. 
  • Partner with Accounting to understand & develop sales plans, budgets, and  forecasts; along with maintaining annual sales and trade show calendar. 

QUALIFICATION 

  • Minimum 7 years in Sales of Apparel Fashion Industry as an account executive  showroom and/or in-house Sales Director for Women RTW brand/designer. 
  • Must have buyer references. 
  • Must have Luxury Women Apparel showroom references. 
  • Background in Luxury Women Apparel. 
  • Have extensive knowledge of the Women RTW markets, and to have relationships  with buyers from both top major department stores, and top tier specialty stores &  boutiques. 
  • Exceptional communication, negotiation, presentation skills and multitask as a  team player. 
  • Strong analytical and problem solving skills. 
  • Strong knowledge of Women RTW market and trends. 
  • Must be highly organized and have stronger computer skills.  
  • Must have strong communication skills and able to multitask. 
  • Goal oriented, must be self-motivated and develop new accounts.
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills (English is a Must). 
  • Available to travel during peak sales periods, to trade shows, and to specialty  stores nationwide to develop relationships. 

Salary – Based in experience + Commission
