Sr. Designer

Boll & Branch, the only home brand that creates industry-leading luxury goods from the ground up, is seeking a talented and motivated Senior ​Designer of Soft Home Goods to join our Design Team.

As the Senior Designer, you will ​work closely with the Design Director in creating a wide variety of home textiles products, including categories such as bedding, bath, beach, and loungewear. As a growing company, you will be working on additional hard goods categories as they are added to our product portfolio. Our ideal candidate has an extreme attention to detail, is highly organized, self-motivated, and a creative flare and passion for home design.

This position is based in our Summit, NJ headquarters.

Key Responsibilities:

• From start to finish, design and develop products from conceptualization, through the manufacturing process, to the final product
• Create original designs that are unique, special and align with our brand aesthetics and company values
• Ensure designs are meeting costing targets and margins
• Independently create and maintain tech packs that contain detailed and accurate product + packing specifications
• Create factory ready artwork files to be interpreted into woven fabrics, prints, and other techniques
• Creatively problem solve and adapt designs to work within factory capabilities and machinery limitations
• Communicate clearly, effectively and respectfully ​with our suppliers to ensure sampling and production goes smoothly

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree and 5+ years experience in Home
• ​Expert working knowledge of Adobe and Microsoft Suites
• Expert knowledge of wovens, prints, knits
• ​A wide range of product design in the home category, including textiles and hard goods
• Clear understanding of product development and production
• Understanding of product labeling + packaging
• Creative brainstorming with a team or individually
• Willingness and enthusiasm to jump in on any projects as needed
• Able to manage multiple projects in a fast paced environment and meet or exceed deadlines​/timelines​
