SALES MANAGER - Home/Gift Industry

Currently recruiting for an enthusiastic and results driven sales person who resides in Texas to join our team. The Sales Manager will be responsible for increasing sales revenue in their territory (7 states in South Central region) through new business acquisition and developing existing customers of independent retailers in the Home/Gift Industry. This hard working individual should possess an internal drive to meet and exceed goals. 

With designs celebrating the world since 2000, we are the original geography collection of pillows, dish towels, pouches, beverageware and more. 

RESPONSIBILITIES 

  • Meet or exceed monthly, quarterly and annual sales targets through year over year growth of existing accounts and by opening new accounts in territory. 
  • Provide excellent communication skills via all methods – in person, phone, email, both internally and externally. 
  • Utilize and adhere to company processes and procedures, especially with CRM to ensure data integrity. 
  • Generate creative ideas and development of sales campaigns, programs and promotions. 
  • Attends trade shows as needed, supporting set up, takedown, lead follow up, and other activities 
  • Ensure smooth and efficient new customer onboarding. 
  • Monitor industry trends in order to identify emerging markets and develop plans to utilize those markets to expand revenue. 

QUALIFICATIONS 

  • Ability and willingness to travel approx. 50% of the time. 
  • 2 - 5 years wholesale sales experience selling to independent retail locations throughout the United States. 
  • Strong sales skills with the ability to quickly and effectively close deals. 
  • Gets excited by new business prospects. 
  • Hard-working, nimble, team player, hunter mentality.
