Show Me Your Mumu

ammy Miller and Cologne Trude graduated from UC Berkeley in 2008 with an aptitude for fashion and design. They both moved to New York shortly thereafter to foster this passion and began their career working in sales for women’s contemporary fashion brands. Once situated on the business side, they looked for where their creativity could have a real impact. Inspiration struck the duo a year later, on a trip to Miami with their best friends. There they realized there was a void in the contemporary market for a lightweight, fashionable garment that could easily travel and take you from day to night. Proving necessity is the mother of invention, Show Me Your Mumu was born.

In 2010, Cammy and Cologne relocated from New York to Los Angeles to build an original, American-made clothing brand and began work on Show Me Your Mumu full-time. The brand quickly grew under their creative direction, and within a few years MUMUs online business soared, both on their own e-commerce site and on e-retailers such as Revolve and boutiques around the country. SMYM has truly grown with the founders and their friends around them, so it comes as no surprise that in the last 5 years they have further captivated with their bridesmaids, maternity, and mini collections. Cammy and Cologne saw the need for cute, comfortable clothing to take the Mumu girl from the "I do's" to motherhood.

Mumu has remained passionate about bringing customers quality pieces that are unique and special. Mumu is proud to produce the majority of our bridesmaids dresses here in Los Angeles, CA; employing over 80% women, our clothes are made with care. Through their journey to expand their size offering, Mumu believes that every girl can live the Mumu lifestyle.
