FROM THE BEGINNING  

LoveShackFancy is a New York City-based lifestyle brand founded in 2013 by stylist, designer and creative director Rebecca Hessel Cohen. The brand originated from Rebecca’s desire to design the perfect bridesmaid dress for her own ethereal summer wedding at her family home in Bridgehampton, surrounded by swaying apple trees. From an initial collection of hand-dyed silk dresses, LoveShackFancy quickly gained a dedicated following for its charming pieces that whisper of dream escapes and special moments.  

INSIDE REBECCA'S WORLD  

Creative Director Rebecca Hessel Cohen has always collected and been inspired by vintage clothing and antiques, which infuses her designs. Ranging from French countryside eyelet to the creamy shades of Swedish cottages to Victorian-inspired lace, the brand offers versatile pieces that evoke an imperfect elegance and old-world eclecticism. LoveShackFancy is made for a woman who is unabashedly feminine, ethereal, whimsical and enchanted by history and vintage style.  

NEVER STANDING STILL  

The brand continues to evolve and grow, bringing new women and categories into the LoveShackFancy lifestyle. Rebecca is most inspired by her two little girls, Scarlett and Stella, which led her to launch LoveShackFancy Little Girls collection in Summer 2015. As LoveShackFancy is the embodiment of a perfectly imperfect dream world, its beautiful and evocative lifestyle naturally leads into an expansion of the brand into the home space as well as swim, bridal and special event dressing.
