WOMEN’S FOOTWEAR DESIGNER (St. Louis, Missouri) – Will Pay for Relocation

Global footwear company seeking a women’s footwear designer- comfort athletic shoes.

• Degree in Industrial Design, Footwear Design, Fashion Design or Graphic Design
• 3-5 years’ progressive footwear design experience
• Strong understanding of footwear materials, constructions and production processes
• Athletic footwear understanding preferred
• Excellent communication, presentation and organizational skills
• Ability to meet deadlines and adhere to product development calendar
• Ability to work well individually, as well as dynamically engage in a team environment
• Proficient in Adobe Illustrator
• Experience with 3D design (Delcam) software preferred
• Ability to travel to Asia to follow up on product development projects
• Ability to sketch shoes accurately and provide detailed specifications for sample creation, refining designs to reflect sales feedback and fitting standards, while achieving cost targets
