VP, e-Com Sales (1630)

Specific Responsibilities

Vice President | e-Com Sales

 

Role - Overview

Manage and lead a team for a rapidly growing domestic e-Commerce platform. 

Lengthy experience with consumer product with sound knowledge across superstore / big box, club and department store channels, with most recent experience being in e-Commerce

 

Key Accountabilities

- Develop e-commerce strategies, including but not limited to assortment, price strategy, development of content, SEO and analytics

- Work closely with marketing team to develop an extensive calendar of complementary promotion and marketing activities

- Oversee the execution of the e-commerce sales & marketing strategies to achieve sales growth and profit objectives, including such things as regular site audits and promotional and marketing effectiveness

- Analyze KPI’s and metrics to identify trends and recommend activity to generate sales growth and maximize conversion rates

- Oversee and help facilitate best practice for the on-boarding of new customers and product launch planning and execution.

- Manage all existing and new vendor relationships, internal and external, for the product assortment

- Work closely with internal support functions including planning, logistics, operations & customer service 

- Prepare monthly reports to give an overview of the business, including sales and margin against budget, key changes in strategy and an assessment of the competitive landscape

- Lead and develop direct reports by setting and communicating clear team and individual goals and encouraging autonomy within the team

 

Skills and Requirements

Qualifications

- BS degree in Business Administration or Marketing (or equivalent)

- Minimum of 5+ year’s experience in sales, marketing, e-commerce, or project management, with minimum of 3years specifically in e-commerce. Solid experience with Amazon is required.

- Strong understanding of e-commerce specific business practices and consumer behavior, best practice marketing strategy and tools, vendor management and project management

- Experience in furniture or hard home categories (accessories and home decoration) an advantage 

- Proficient in web analytics
