Technical Trainer - All Shifts

Position Summary:

The Technical Trainer is responsible for learning all of the functions of a Fulfillment Center and sharing that knowledge with new hire and cross training associates through robust classroom and on the job training. Technical Trainer is also responsible for administrating competency assessment, performing various observations and surveys, providing process related coaching and being a visible resource to all associates and other responsibilities as requested. 

• Deliver robust On the Job training in the classroom and production environment and simulated environments achieving training objectives
• Perform all training per latest SOP without deviation
• Perform quality, evaluation, audits, certification and feedback
• Work with Training Specialists, other Technical Trainers and T&D Manager to support training throughout the facility and across shifts as needed
• Be a champion of change

Requirements/Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Minimum 1 year of relevant experience training in a production facility
• Must have in-depth knowledge of Put Away, Put Wall, Picking and Packing
• Must be well spoken and articulate and be able to instruct to multiple trainees
• Proficient in MS Word, MS PowerPoint and MS Excel
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Ability to evaluate employee performance to a set standard
• Ability to provide effective feedback
• Leads by example
• Great organizational skills
• Self-starter and able to work autonomously

• Will have a “home shift” but must be willing to work on ANY SHIFT with minimal notice
