Technical Designer - Guess/ Kensie

Bass, among others, seeks a Technical Designer to join its team based in New York City.

The Technical Designer will collaborate with Designer, Senior Technical Designer in live fittings. They will create tech packs from development stage and maintain through production stage. In addition, they will be involved in fitting and communicating the fit comments overseas.

• Conduct fittings with the support of senior Technical designer
• Create technical design packages to communicate overseas fit and construction.
• Communicate with vendors regarding fit, specs, grading issues and construction via fit comments
• Organize and prioritize daily workload to maintain production calendar
• Monitor and maintain fit, construction and workmanship for consistency within the brand across all factories

• 4 year college degree: preferred with training in Technical Design
• 5-6 years of experience in Technical Design and/or pattern making
