Technical Design Manager

A prominent active apparel manufacturer specializing in licensed product is looking for a full time Technical Design Manager. In this role you will manage a team of technical designers, distribute work to the team, oversee production calendars and trouble shoot. Experience working with Club Accounts, or Big Box retailers is a plus.

Additional Responsibilities Include

*Helps Solve Technical Problems

*Manages Vendor Product Requirements

*Ensures the team follows Vendor/Company procedures/requirements and policies

*Guide teams through Production

*Provide direction and Technical expertise during Development and Production

*Quickly make decisions and solve problems

*Conduct regular team meetings to track progress

*Interview/Hire Candidates

*Conduct performance reviews and identify areas of improvement, give feedback, and recommendations for promotions/salary increase

*Provide an efficient working atmosphere

*Train and develop team members to increase skill level
