The Technical Manager, Global Digital Analytics will join a team of global analysts leveraging digital data to deliver insights to business stakeholders and drive the ecommerce division of Michael Kors. The Technical Analyst will oversee the data collection processes for the Michael Kors’ web sites and native mobile applications. The Analyst will manage the architecture, implementation, and maintenance of analytics tagging. Qualified candidates will have a background working in Ecommerce and hands-on experience using a tag management solution, analyzing data, and developing AB tests.
Main Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
- Interpret business objectives and requirements into technical requirements with input from stakeholders and digital marketing analysts
- Manage the analytics code base, data layer, and tag management solution for accurate and efficient data capture
- Maintain technical documentation and data dictionary to account for evolving business needs and requirements
- Manage all processes for testing and monitoring to ensure high data quality and allow for scale to new markets
- Manage external partners and prioritize projects in order to deliver on time and within budget
- Leverage best practices and make recommendations for improvements in the existing tagging implementation
- Analyze data and provide actionable insights to business stakeholders
- Formulate AB tests and measurement plans to optimize the customer journey and content
- Partner with digital marketing to implement pixel tags for measuring campaign performance and retargeting
- Manage other third party integrations leveraging data feeds, APIs, and others
Requirements/Qualifications:
- Bachelors (B.S. or B.S.) from a four-year college or equivalent
- Experience with digital analytics in Ecommerce
- Hands-on experience implementing tags through tag management solutions (Adobe’s Dynamic Tag Management, Google Tag Manager, Tealium)
- Working knowledge of reporting and insights suites (Adobe Analytics Reporting, Google Analytics, Coremetrics)
- Experience implementing Mobile SDKs and tagging a plus
- Familiarity with relevant KPIs and industry best practices for Ecommerce and Digital
- Working knowledge of Javascript and HTML
- Strong quantitative analysis skills and advanced Excel skills a must
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Demonstrated ability to work in a fast-paced, “self-starter” environment
- Highly organized and detail-oriented
- Ability to manage multiple work streams simultaneously
- Team-player with excellent relationship-building
