Store Manager – NYC (NOLITA) - Flagship Store

ABOUT LULU FROST:

Lulu Frost is a NYC-based costume and fine jewelry company founded in 2004 by designer Lisa Salzer. Lulu Frost has a strong focus on reinvented vintage as well as original design and is beloved for its modern aesthetic and witty approach to creating meaningful jewelry.  The Lulu Frost flagship store will establish the brand’s position as an industry innovator with an unusual multi-format retail space.  The store will present Lulu Frost’s unique jewelry designs alongside a curated DIY jewelry bar and novel take on symbolic floral design.

JOB DESCRIPTION:

As the Lulu Frost Store Manager you will create a highly productive environment in which customers have an extraordinary experience, employees are able to do their best and the business thrives. You will act as an ambassador of the brand as you maintain the visual and ethical standards of the company and effectively build the brand’s image through outstanding leadership skills and a meticulous eye for detail. You are primarily accountable for developing and training your team, in addition to the day-to-day operations of running a seamless, successful business with an authentic approach. 

RESPONSIBILITIES: 

  • Translate the company’s vision & strategy in the store setting by creating & executing effective store communications.
  • Ensure visual merchandising and store maintenance standards are met at all times.
  • Acquire, retain, and develop store talent, managing overall team performance through feedback and performance reviews.
  • Enforce HR policies to uphold accuracy and timely processing of employee paperwork with our head office.
  • Lead by example, creating a proactive selling culture, with a focus on long term customer relationship building and transformational customer experiences.
  • Manage inventory movement, mark-down processing, transfers, damages, repairs, POS transactions, and daily cash flow.
  • Use data analysis and reporting to continually improve upon store buying & allocation
  • Achieve financial targets and monitor areas for business opportunity.
  • Generate new ideas & apply an entrepreneurial spirit to ensure the business is run with agility and in response to key indicators.
  • Strategize and help execute on-brand store events and launches.

REQUIREMENTS:

  • Previous experience in luxury retail sales/management.
  • Undergraduate degree, preferably in business or a fashion related discipline.
  • Passion for jewelry & florals
