Sr. Product Supervisor

Job Description

LordandTaylor.com adds thousands of new items onto the website each week and the Product Supervisors are the engines behind executing this pipeline.  The Senior Product Supervisor will lead all training for new hires and serve as a resource for Sample Management team best practices, including internal product information system and turn-in SOPs. This role will also be responsible for the active management of the Not On Site Report, leading the team in minimizing the volume of not on site items across all categories.  

• Proactively work to bring down the overall volume of items on the weekly Not On Site report by leading Product Coordinators and Sample Assistants in turn-in strategy and best practices
• Partner with Merchandise Operations to ensure quick turnaround time of Not On Site items from warehouse receipt to publishing on site
• Lead training for all new hires and conduct refresher training as needed; act as authority in PIM technical expertise for Sample Management
• Assist with turn-in across all categories as needed, according to weekly volume
• Support the Director and Manager in additional projects
• Provide status reports and project progress updates to the Director and Manager

Qualifications

• Exceptional organizational skills and passion for documentation and process
• Keen eye for details
• Persistence and resilience in working with vendors on sample and copy data acquisition
• Strong Communication skills, written & verbal
• Understand the importance of relationship management and demonstrate potential to be strong in this area
• Highly competent with MS Word and Excel
• Demonstrate analytical skills and good business acumen
• Team player with self-confidence, assertiveness and personal motivation
• The ability to meet tight deadlines and manage stress (with a good sense of humor!)
• Ability to multi-task to meet concurrent deadlines
