The Sr Product Development Associate works closely with Design, Sourcing and Merchandising to ensure all details of the line are executed accurately from initial concept to bulk production. He or she is responsible for creating and maintaining style packages and sample requests in PDM. Manages the overall communication with overseas offices and drives the product development process. The Senior PDA is an integral part of the Global Supply Chain team and executes product initiatives under the direction of the Technical Design Manager. The Senior PDA oversees the PDA team and is gate keeper of the overall design and product development processes.

PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES/ACCOUNTABILITIES OF THE JOB:

• Create and maintain the integrity of tech packages from initial development through bulk for all categories
• Maintain NRF table in PLM and NRF creation for new colorways
• Work with design/merch/sourcing to finalize tech packs and releases final bulk tech packs to corresponding hub offices
• Communicate all changes to the line and updates to internal and external groups throughout the lifespan of styles
• Managing all e-mail communication with overseas partners by making sure all e-mails are answered in a timely manner
• Perform 7th On Line/Affinity uploads regularly during market.
• Assign and maintain style numbers and fabric codes for mainline and off-price
• Distribute design/mill cards to PVH OSO’s
• Responsible for coordinating and leading finalization meeting for bought styles.
• Develop new finishes and sizes of existing trims according to design direction by communicating design’s vision to over-seas trim team. 
• Maintain marketing trim requirements/groupings.
• Maintain updates for labels of mainline/specials/Canada styles.
• Collaborate with Design & Merchandising to make sure samples are executed to Design’s vision.
• Prepare and maintain line list and distribute to merchandising/sales, sourcing and design as needed throughout the current seasons.
• Receive submits (trims-new color/finish only, wash, lab dips, prints, yarn dyes, handlooms, etc.) and review with design/RM team and communicate comments to PVH OSO’s.
• Partner with Raw Materials team to maintain comments in approval tracking.
• Manage library/reference for trims, wash, lab dips, prints, yarn dyes, handlooms, etc.

QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE:

          Experience:    

• 1-2 years of experience

• Experience with product development in apparel industry
• Proven tracking and production experience

            Education:    Bachelor’s Degree in related field

          Skills:               

• Advanced PLM and WEB PDM
• Working knowledge of fabrics as well as garment specifically
• Knowledge of trims sourcing a plus
• Ability to work independently and set deadlines
• Highly effective written and verbal communication
• Effective time management skills
• Ability to multi-task and work in a fast pace environment
  with multiple deadlines
• Detail oriented with excellent follow-through skills
• Strong organizational skills
• Strong analytical skills
• Proficient in Microsoft Office applications
• Superior knowledge of pre-production and product development
  process
