The primary purpose of this position is to manage relationships with Michael Kors’ wholesale partners, implementing holistic marketing plans that drive omni-channel traffic and sales for the brand. The Sr. Manager, Wholesale Marketing will liaise with internal and external partners as well as the Michael Kors global teams on campaigns and projects.

Major responsibilities include but are not limited to:

  • Identify and implement marketing strategies that drive omni-channel sales and traffic through an integrated approach that connects digital, print, in-store, advertising, CRM, social, events, and PR tactics
  • Work cross-functionally with Sales teams to align marketing programs with key product initiatives and seasonal plans, by wholesale account
  • Oversee the Creative process, including negotiating shot lists, securing product samples, and briefing assets
  • Manage the planning and execution of seasonal and holistic marketing campaigns for domestic wholesale accounts across all categories of business
  • Communicate marketing plans and results to internal partners on a regular basis
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with key contacts at each wholesale account
    • Partner to continue evolving account-level marketing campaigns based on previous results and industry trends
    • Encourage accounts to share detailed results of all marketing efforts in order to create successful campaigns in future seasons
    • Understand marketing opportunities with each account, driving partners to test new tactics
    • Ensure consistent alignment on goals and strategies between Michael Kors and the account
    • Communicate and monitor expectations for compliance with Global Marketing Guidelines
       
  • Define and develop appropriate guidelines, trainings and policies for global partners
  • Communicate regularly with global marketing and licensing teams on seasonal plans and campaigns
  • Analyze competitive landscape for marketing opportunities
  • Manage day-to-day aspects of the marketing budget, including planning and invoicing process
  • Manage 1 direct report
