POSITION SUMMARY:

This is a vital leadership role on the North American Marketing team, reporting to the Senior Vice President of Marketing.  The position oversees both Wholesale & Retail Marketing strategies within the United States, Canada & LATAM, inclusive of direct to consumer, in-store and digital. This position partners closely with the business units internally, focused on establishing Marketing initiatives supporting the Retail Stores (200+ Outlet & Full-Priced Stores), along with external Wholesale accounts (200+ doors).  This role demands strict attention to the North America businesses; developing strategies to drive traffic and sales, supporting goals for both Retail & Wholesale.  This position is committed & accountable to the strategic business initiatives, delivering against strict sales & margin goals for each channel.

 

PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES/ACCOUNTABILITIES OF THE JOB:

  • Omni-Channel Marketing role focused on leading the Wholesale & Retail Marketing team, supporting the growing business needs
  • Marketing oversight into Full-Priced & Outlet Retail Stores, Department Stores, Speciality & Off-Price Channel.
  • Development of Store Opening strategies, inclusive of Wholesale Shop-in-Shop expansion
  • Leads all Direct to Consumer, In-Store & Digital strategies within region, emphasis on driving traffic & conversion in all channels.
  • Responsible for briefing seasonal photo shoot requirements, as well as Licensed needs.
  • Close partnership with the Visual Merchandising & Windows team, to ensure holistic Marketing approach.
  • Close collaboration with CRM Team, effectively leveraging customer data & ownership of Loyalty Program.
  • Development & execution of seasonal Marketing strategies, partnering with cross-functional teams i.e. in-house agency (Creative, Production, Media, Styling), PR, Design, Merchandising, Buying, etc.
  • Management of Digital strategies, including PDP, digital 3rd party brand sites and E-Marketing.
  • Close partnership & implementation of strategy with external Wholesale accounts
  • Management of all traffic driver Retail intiatives i.e. tourism, bounce-back programs, promotions, developer / Mall programs, etc.
  • Consistent communication with external Licensee partners, ensuring business needs are being voiced and met.
  • Leadership of all trim development within region, inclusive of hangtags & on garment needs.
  • Management of North American Marketing budget.
  • ROI analysis for all initiatives implemented.

 

QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE:

Experience:          

  • 10+ years Marketing experience, preferably within a brand organization
  • Solid management experience leading a team
  • Proven expertise within the Wholesale & Retail channels
  • CRM background
  • Understanding of, and ability to communicate, the Calvin Klein brand aesthetic           
  • Demonstrated experience within owned/operated and licensing business models is a plus

Education: BA in Marketing/Communications, Business or Liberal Arts. MBA is a plus.
