SPORTSWEAR GRAPHIC DESIGNER

A New York based company who is the premier designer and manufacturer of the most sought-after brands for men’s, women’s, and children’s apparel is seeking a Sportswear Graphic Designer.

Salary/Rate: Temp: $18-30/hr Perm: $45-75K

Responsibilities: 

• The Sportswear Graphic Designer collaborates effectively with design, tech, and CAD teams
• Assists with seasonal and brand appropriate trend research for print direction
• Creates seasonal original prints and follows through to production stage
• The Sportswear Graphic Designer must have positive and collaborative attitude and can work well in a team environment

Qualifications: 

• Minimum of 2-8 years of graphic design experience within the apparel industry
• Strong understanding of the apparel industry
• Experience working on print design and repeats
• Must be proficient on MAC
• Ability to communicate and create ideas efficiently
• Proficiency in Illustrator and Photoshop a must
• Candidate should possess strong sketching and illustration skills along with technical print knowledge

 Education Requirements: 

• Bachelor’s Degree in Graphic Design or Apparel Design
