SOURCING COORDINATOR

This lifestyle, mass market company specializes in women's, men's, and children apparel and is seeking a Sourcing Coordinator to help provide trends for everyday functions.   

Salary/Hourly Rate: $55-60K 

Position Overview: This position requires someone with great communication skills to interact with overseas factories. The Sourcing Coordinator must be fluent in either Cantonese or Mandarin. The potential candidate must be able to work in a fast paced environment and have strong sourcing skills. 

Responsibilities: 

• The Sourcing Coordinator sends inquiry packages to overseas manufacturers or agents for price and delivery quotation
• Daily communication with overseas manufacturers and agents regarding production details for all confirmed orders
• The Sourcing Coordinator works with designers for sample fitting comments and approvals
• Works with product managers for order delivery details
• The Sourcing Coordinator works with the quality assurance department for lab and sample approval

Qualifications: 

• Knowledge of fabric and garment construction
• 2 or more years experience in production
• Proficiency in Word and Excel
• Bilingual in Chinese (Mandarin or Cantonese)

Education Requirements: 

• Bachelor's in apparel production preferred
