Social Media Coordinator, Content & Reporting

Job Description The Social Media Coordinator, Content + Reporting reporting to the Senior Manager, will be responsible for supporting the Social Media Team in everyday initiatives relating to the Lord & Taylor social channels.     The Social Media Coordinator will help with content creation, image selection, copywriting, and reporting and analytics. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in analytics and reporting, particularly with Omniture. They should also have a positive attitude, a creative eye and exceptional writing skills, all while being detail-oriented, results-driven, organized, and a dependable team player.   If you thrive in a fast-paced environment, have a background in social reporting, possess a strong work ethic and are willing to go above-and-beyond to make Lord & Taylor’s social media channels innovative and fun - then this role is for you.   Core Job Responsibilities:

  • Pulling and analyzing platforms’ reporting & analytics. Candidates must have experience with Omniture and Facebook Insights.
  • Support in content creation, execution and posting
  • Select the proper imagery for day-to-day content and larger initiatives
  • Work with Creative and Design teams to create custom content
  • Brainstorm standalone social campaigns, as well as larger ones supporting sitewide initiatives
  • Write captions for all content, leveraging the Gilt voice
  • Manage social calendars and all process docs
  • Run reporting and analytics for all channels
  • Liaison with social media vendors
  • Support launches of new social media channels
  • Research best practices and industry insights
  • Respond to a select set of comments from followers

Qualifications Job Qualifications/Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s Degree
  • Minimum of 1-2  years coordinator experience preferred
  • Strong proficiency in Omniture and Facebook Insights
  • Strong proficiency in Excel (including creating Pivot Tables/formulas), Word, and PowerPoint
  • Experience with Sprinklr, Curalate, Offerpop and bitly a plus
  • Strong verbal and writing skills
  • Excellent time and project management with exceptional attention to detail
  • Desire and demonstrated ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously and meet tight deadlines
  • Knowledge/background of e-commerce, social media marketing, and best practices
  • Self-motivated and energetic individual with a high level of initiative and thrives working a fast-paced, challenging digital environment
  • Photoshop experience would be a plus
  • Paid social media experience is required
