Senior Sweater Designer

Nation Design is a leading Private Label knitwear and sportswear manufacturer located in the New York City garment center. Our competitive advantage is a prolific and highly creative design team integrated with a robust product development and sourcing platform.

We are seeking a creative, well organized, and meticulous team player with strong flat sketching, trim research and yarn sourcing skills.  This includes research, design, development, and follow through for each season within the constraints of the company's development calendar and design financial budgets.  Seeking a high degree of creativity and design skills sufficient to transform abstract design concepts into a tangible product offering with particular emphasis on knitwear.  Ability to collaborate with customers throughout the development process is an essential component of this position.

The ideal candidate has 5 years design experience as well as a complete mastery of Photoshop and Illustrator.  We are a flexible and highly entrepreneurial company with strong financial and operational capability.  We are offering an outstanding opportunity for the dynamic self starter who can help us unlock the value in our infrastructure.
