SENIOR RETAIL PLANNER

I am working with a fantastic client who is seeking a Senior Retail Planner to work in their Men’s Apparel division and oversee the Retail Planner for their Kids division.

This position would collaborate externally with accounts creating a strong partnership. The role will manage pre-season and in-season planning, including management of retailer open-to-buy driving sales, margin, turn and profitability.

Key Responsibilities Include:

  • Manage the Men’s plannable account OTB’s and provide guidance the Retail Planner to manage the Kids business.
  • Conduct monthly OTB meetings to ensure we are capitalizing on opportunities and minimizing future risk.
  • Manage accounts OTBs to maximize profit, identify opportunities, and assess risk to the business.
  • Understand the retailer’s business models and Consumer base to meet their needs while protecting ours
  • Create and manage bridge plans for go to market to ensure a grow/maintain/decline proposal is built to protect LY volume as well as forecasted incremental growth.
  • Responsible to build a new business proposal and help deliver a succinct, well thought out sell-in strategy.
  • An understanding of Gross Margin goals to measure our Retail partner’s profitability.

Requirements:

  • The Senior Retail Planner will have in depth and broad-based knowledge of the wholesale apparel business and will communicate with all levels of management, both internal and external.
  •  Bachelor’s Degree in a related field and 6 - 8 years Planning experience (Retail Planning preferred)
  • Ability to build relationships with customers and all internal departments; work with all levels of management
  • Build an effective team that is motivated, self-sufficient, and passionate. Delegate and empower team to achieve business goals.

Salary comensurates with experince 110K-135K
