Senior Paralegal - PVH Corp.

The Senior Trademark Paralegal will be responsible for managing all matters relating to the coordination and maintenance of PVH’s trademark portfolio.

Responsibilities

  • Maintaining docket of trademark portfolio, organizing department within the internal company database.
  • Preparing files for the PVH- USA trademark offices.
  • Conducting and analyzing trademark clearance searches.
  • Advising internal clients on appropriate trademark use.
  • Reviewing trademark watch notices.
  • Preparing customs letters.
  • Preparing and prosecuting trademark applications in US and managing outside counsel on worldwide prosecution matters.
  • Reviewing invoices from, and conducting frequent communication with the foreign counsel.
  • Supporting licensing review and activities.
  • Gathering and maintaining evidence for oppositions and other conflict matters.
  • Creating filing system and transfer of docketing system from outside counsel to in house.

Qualifications

Experience: At least 5 years previous Trademark Paralegal Experience (preferably in an apparel/fashion company).

Education: Bachelor’s Degree or Paralegal Certificate preferred.       

Skills:                         

  • Extensive knowledge of CPI Trademark database, CORSEARCH, and all aspects of USPTO trademark work. (prosecution,  maintenance, and renewals)
  • Highly motivated and organized.
  • Task oriented and resourceful.
  • Excellent communication skills and enjoys working in a team oriented environment.
