Responsibilities:

The Senior Manager of Store Operations will demonstrate expertise in areas of functional systems knowledge, the ability to drive operational infrastructure improvements cross-functionally in partnership with all internal departments.  The person in this role will be responsible for ensuring the consistency and compliance through store systems and written communication for all operational standards across brands by leveraging synergy between our key partners.

Essential duties and responsibilities:

  • Act as the expert and as the main point of contact in all store systems and operating procedures
  • Provide leadership and support to the store operations assistants in order to drive operational effectiveness
  • Ensure brand and operating standards are met to support brand consistency across all channels
  • Participate in district and store conference calls to provide operational updates and gain feedback from the field
  • Lead all operational projects/initiatives and communicate through the operational calendars
  • Evaluate current best practices to determine more efficient processes in order to increase productivity and identify cost savings opportunities
  • Responsible for the new store opening process ensuring all calendars are updated and deadlines are met
  • Develop effective communication to the stores to ensure all information is clear and concise
  • Maintain strong business relationships with all corporate partners
  • Work with learning & development to develop and implement all operational initiatives and training
  • Represent store operations during weekly inventory meetings to ensure proper delivery and receiving processes are being executed
  • Participate in store design meetings to ensure all store layouts and off site locations are set up to operational standard
  • Partner with store construction/facilities on all projects affecting stores
  • Maintain all store profile information related to individual store locations

  • Demonstrate time management and organizational skills, ability to multi-task
  • Ability to manage complex and competing priorities
  • Leadership to drive cross functional partnerships, with strong ability to prioritize
  • Strong understanding of all windows based office programs (Excel, Outlook, Word, PowerPoint)
  • Ability to travel domestically and internationally

education and experience required:

  • Minimum 8 years experience in luxury goods or a comparable retail environment with a focus on retail operations
  • Bachelor’s degree preferred
