SENIOR MANAGER - Marketplace & Content

Overview:

Responsible for coordinating all third party marketplace initiatives and consumer facing digital content, as well as driving and managing the launch of [mensaccessories].com, an owned, multi-brand, content rich accessories etailer

  • Coordination of marketplace initiatives shall entail leveraging the product expertise of the product divisions along with the digital marketing expertise of RDL to mine Randa's product catalogue and supply chain for programs that will profitably perform on third party marketplaces
  • Coordination of consumer facing digital content shall entail the repurposing, commissioning and production of all consumer facing verbiage, photography and videography deployed on owned and marketplace channels
  • This position shall report to the VP, eCommerce and its direct reports shall include RDL's Marketplace Coordinator and eCommerce Coordinator

Primary Responsibilities Include:

  • Develops meaningful consumer facing content strategies to drive eCommerce engagement and, ultimately, sales around various RDL digital and product initiatives
  • Establishes content best practices for multiple digital touch points and channels and ensures content is presented and maintained on all owned and marketplace platforms to Randa standards and industry best practices
  • Works with internal and external partners to take digital content initiatives from concept to execution
  • Project manager lead for broad range of digital consumer engagement initiatives
  • Drives and manages product development, site merchandising and editorial content calendars
  • Monitors daily traffic goals and make quick, real-time pivots to help us hit monthly goals as well as analyze content performance and provide actionable reporting and optimization recommendations
  • Works with digital marketing analyst to optimize digital marketing and ecommerce content
  • Leverages third party partners to drive measurable customers acquisition initiatives
  • Identifies marketplace product opportunities. Works with Product Development and Planning teams to expedite inventory production and delivery
