Job Description

Nine West Holdings, Inc. has an opening for a Sr. IT Security Analyst in Bristol, PA. 

The Sr. IT Security Analyst reviews, monitors, and tests the technical security environment to ensure that network and other security measures are functioning appropriately.  Works closely with application groups and service providers to ensure Security standards are met. 


  • Review IT systems and audit logs (i.e. user logins, database changes, user permissions or system set up changes, etc.) daily identifying suspicious activity that could compromise IT security.

  • Test computers for security vulnerabilities before they go into production.

  • Review deployment checklists and advise infrastructure groups (Network Group, LAN, Telecom, Help Desk, etc.) of the findings to ensure secure PC, system, and server deployments.

  • Evaluate security tools to verify their effectiveness and applicability in our Jones environment.

  • Interpret Corporate Security Policy and create policies and procedures that will foster compliance with PCI and SOX requirements.

  • Manage policies and procedures and keep abreast of IT security trends and solutions to advise Management regarding firewalls, policy-based monitoring tools, VPN, encryption technologies, etc.

  • Conduct formal and informal periodic assessments of the Jones security environment using automated tools to proactively identify vulnerabilities that could be used to exploit our network.

  • Notify Management of any security threats and provide incident response support to resolve issue.

  • Provide regular reports to management regarding status of individual workload and activities, and results of scans and audits.

  • Read and understand network (NIDS) and host intrusion detection(HIDS) logs.

  • Work closely with 3rd Party service providers to ensure they provide the required and contracted Security Services.
