Senior Graphic Designer, Contemporary

As a Senior Graphic Designer, you will create art/designs for Contemporary Women's apparel at our Culver City office (Junk Food Clothing).

What will you do?

• Work with art directors and sales team to create visual presentations by designing artwork for presentation to buying teams.
• Conduct trend research to identify the latest and upcoming trends.
• Create original on-trend graphics for weekly projects with limited supervision by art directors.

What are the qualifications?

• BA or equivalent in Graphic Design
• 5+ years of graphic experience for the apparel industry, a passion for design and a good understanding of market trends
• Proficient in the latest Photoshop and Illustrator programs
• Proficient with administrative/company programs outside of Adobe
• Ability to create multiple styles of art/design for different customers
• Strong freehand skills
• Strong sense of typography and composition
• Strong attention to detail
• Strong understanding of screen printing process and techniques and basic garment
• Must be able to demonstrate a pulse of what is trending at retail
• Must be very organized and have the ability to multi task
• Must be able to meet tight deadlines, self-manage timelines and work in a team environment
