SENIOR FINANCIAL ANALYST

DESCRIPTION/RESPONSIBILITIES:

SUMMARY: This position is responsible for supporting the
Wholesale division with regards to the monthly financial
forecast, annual budgeting process, month-end closure, and
operational processes. The main departments this position
interfaces with are finance leadership, planning, sales,
sourcing/production, design, and merchandising.


Oversee monthly revenue and SG&A expense forecast and annual
budget for business unit

* Collaborate with sales, planning, and division leader to re-
forecast/budget all revenues by business unit

* Work with department heads to forecast/budget all expense
lines by cost center

* Assist in monthly inventory monitoring and forecasting, as
well as in the management and disposition of excess inventory

* Maintain, streamline and improve upon current forecasting
tools to improve accuracy and maximize efficiency

* Consolidate and update monthly forecast and annual budget in
financial systems

* Report on and forecast capital expenditure spending in
collaboration with business unit and Corporate Accounting

* Analyze and present P&L variances to senior finance leadership

* Manage and communicate risks and opportunities as they pertain
to the P&L

* Assist with reporting for budget and board presentations, as
well as for management business review meetings


Perform monthly close processes for Wholesale

* Prepare month-end markdown reserve schedule for business unit

* Prepare quarterly inventory reserve schedule for business unit

* Review, analyze and present monthly P&L results and variances
to department heads

* Prepare documentation and schedules as required by auditors

* Complete ad-hoc projects and analysis as required


The ideal candidate will possess

* 2 years’ experience in Financial Analysis

* Bachelor’s degree in Finance/Accounting or relevant field

* Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the
ability to work in a fast-paced

* Excellent time management and prioritization skills

* Proficiency in Microsoft Excel

* Knowledge of Hyperion Essbase

* Knowledge of Oracle, or a comparable general ledger system

* Team player with strong interpersonal and communication skills

* Experience in fashion or consumer products preferred
