Senior CAD Designer - DKNY Men's Sportswear

The Sr. CAD Designer is responsible for designing wovens, yarn dyes, knits, sweaters, graphic tees and prints for the DKNY line.

Responsibilities:

• The CAD designer is responsible for men’s, yarn dyes, knits, sweaters and printed fabrics & graphics for the DKNY Men’s Design.
• Putting print work into repeat using knits, woven’s and print module in Kaledo and other software’s
• Apply merchandise plan and seasonal strategy to design concepts and line under the direction of the Design Director.
• Ensure timely development of line by working with design and design counterparts assuring DKNY aesthetic is maintained.
• Any other duties reasonably related to the responsibilities described above.

Qualifications:

Experience: Minimum of 5 years’ experience

Education: Degree in Textile Design or Graphic Design preferred

Skills:

• Kaledo-U4ia - version 7 proficiency in knits, wovens and print module
• Ability to match colors and create repeats
• Ability to construct a woven as a swatch
• Aesthetically keen eye for high end design
• Excellent communication, interpersonal and influential skills
