SAMPLE MAKERS - Start April 20th!

Adecco Creative & Marketing is assisting a major high end RTW brand in their search for Sample Makers! We have exciting opportunities open for dresses and pants/outerwear categories for Women’s and Men’s respectively. Leather goods experience is a plus, and high end RTW is a must (not seeking bridal at this time).

This is a FT TEMPORARY opportunity (long-term freelance). There will be a test day in lieu of an interview. Those chosen to test will be paid for that day.

DRESS SAMPLE MAKER JOB DESCRIPTION

  • 10 years minimal experience in high-end fashion houses (non-bridal)
  • Responsible for sewing garments.
  • Experience with delicate fabrics such as silk, and high-end finishes.
  • Work independently to complete assigned projects.
  • Work with patternmakers to ensure the garment is constructed correctly, according to fit, sketch, and specifications.
  • Teamwork with patternmakers/design to find solutions when issues arise.
  • Examine and measure garment for accuracy with paper pattern – during construction as well as finished garment. Bring garment to spec when necessary.
  • Execute alterations accurately and in a timely manner following instructions from the fit notes or the pinned garment.
  • Perform specialized or automatic sewing machine functions, such as buttonhole making or tacking.
  • Maintain a clean and safe work environment.
  • Ability to meet deadlines and work under pressure.

 JACKET/OUTERWEAR SAMPLE MAKER JOB DESCRIPTION
