Job Summary
Serve as an integral player of the independent channel wholesales team managing distribution for the North West region ((Northern California, Washington, Oregon, Idaho, Montana, Alaska). Support sales growth plans by developing region through further penetration of existing accounts and acquisition of new specialty accounts.
GENERAL RESPONSIBILITIES
· Establish and maintain a strong relationship with key retailers to influence future business decisions
· Develop strategies in order to achieve sustainable growth with existing clients
· Cultivate prospect list, strategically increasing distribution
· Conduct ongoing sales and stock analysis by account to optimize sales and profits
· Travel to accounts for business reviews and to present new collections
· Partner with Regional sales manager to identify, plan and attend regional and national tradeshows
· Responsible for order entry (via NuOrder) and order management in collaboration with customer service team
· Service top tier accounts monthly during high season, providing merchandising direction and recommended reorders
· Partner closely with trade marketing team in order to significantly improve brand presence, negotiating branded wall space, custom fixtures and enhanced POP
· Monitor competition, identifying additional opportunities in the market
· Resolve customer challenges by investigating problems, providing solutions and improving processes
· Contributes to sales team efforts by building rapport and being a team player
